Justin graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle with his Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology. He began his work in research as a student intern at the Center for the Study of Health and Risk Behaviors with Dr. Ty Lostutter, Ph.D. From there he was offered a position at the CSPAR (formerly the Comtois Lab) and now works as an assistant to Dr. Kate Comtois, Ph.D, MPH. He provides administrative support across CSPAR, including management of grants, subcontracts, budgets, and reports to sponsors. While he does not have any particular plans to pursue anything at the graduate level, he leaves the possibility open. When he has time off, he enjoys immersing himself in a wide array of video games, playing tennis, and going camping and fishing on the Washington coast.
